Located up a steep embankment above Horsetail Falls is this waterfall, Ponytail Falls. This was the only day of the trip that the rain really was an issue. Even in July, it was cold and soaking, and there was a heavy fog. As you can tell, the hike was totally worth it though! Like many waterfalls in the Pacific Northwest, you can walk behind and under them. It's strange to think, but a waterfall could be used as a shelter in case of emergency....
