Heavy rain Lulumahu Falls tucked in the Koolau Mountains in Nuuanu Valley, Oahu, Hawaii

"Lulumahu Laden #3"

A spring-fed waterfall that runs year-long, Lulumahu Falls (back left of image) is seen here during a torrential downpour. Typically only a sliver of a falls, the volume of water cascading down the mountains was enough to displace plants, animals, and rocks.

This shot is taken just downstream from the primary waterfall. The two streams on the right of the image are branches of another heavy waterfall from the cliffs above, and are created only with heavy rainfall. Everywhere you looked along the cliff face seemed to have water free-flowing off of it. I felt very blessed to witness this waterfall at full power!
