On the south shore just past Hanauma Bay is a lookout point that is well known. Most people just stop and take in the view of the ocean while looking for whales. If you sneak down to the ocean's edge, there are some hidden-from-view dugouts where the rock has eroded over time and made a nice spot to escape the wind and rain.
