Among the limestone mountains of South Korea lies innumerable streams with countless waterfalls that have slowly carved the valleys and deltas (used for rice cultivation) of the country. This regularly visited waterfall, tucked away in Ice Valley, is a national treasure that has a deadly secret: during moderate to heavy flow, there is a whirlpool which has taken many lives. I was lucky enough to visit when few people were there.

산에서 꾸준히 흘러내려오는 물의 힘에 의해 만들어진 계곡과 폭포 중에 제가 방문한 곳은 밀양의 얼음골 입니다. 이 곳은 한국의 보물이기도 하지만 많은 사람의 생명을 앗아간 곳이기도 합니다. 전 사람들이 많이 없을때 방문해서 좋았습니다.
