As most tourists do, I took the tram up to Cristo do Redentor, or Christ the Redeemer, to get a bird's eye view of Rio de Janeiro. I didn't anticipate the massive number of people clamoring for the exact same picture (you can only imagine what picture they were trying to take). I noticed that the shadow of the mountain I was standing on was slowly creeping toward Pão de Açucar, or Sugarloaf Mountain. I waited till it was as long as it could get while still maintaining its shape.
