"Parede de Castelo Panoramic"
In the state of Bahia in Central Brazil lies one of the most unique places I have ever been to, Chapada Diamantina National Park (Parque Nacional da Chapada Diamantina). This area of Brazil was connected to modern day Namibia in Africa, and hence was known for diamonds (hence the name). However, its uplifted limestone plateaus are the real sight to see, impossibly jutting vertically out of the otherwise flat landscape. Amazing! Here you see a panoramic looking into Vale do Pati. I would proceed to hike right through the middle of this image over the next three days.
